Series - Manage Series Videos

Add and manage videos assigned to a series

Bring your series to life by adding videos such as episodes, promos, trailers, or bonus content - all managed in one place.

How to access Series Videos

  1. Go to ONE Admin > Programme Management > Series

  2. Find the relevant programme/series

  3. Click Actions > Manage Series Videos

You’ll see a list of your series. From here:

  • Click Actions > Manage Season Videos on the series you want to update

Adding a new video

To upload a new video:

  1. Click the ‘+ New Video’ button in the top right corner

  2. Enter the following details:

    • Programme*: This will already be tagged with the relevant programme

    • Season: This will already be tagged with the relevant season

    • Episode: Sit your video within this episode

    • Name*: The title of your video as it will appear on the programme page

    • Video Type**: Select video type from pre-existing list.

    • Language(s): Select video language from pre-existing list.

    • Video source: Select the relevant video source from list.

    • Video ID (depending on video source): The unique identifier for the video

    • Status Toggle: Choose whether to make the video public or restricted.
      - You can enter an 'until date' for the restriction, the video will de-restrict on this date

    • Visibility: Choose where the video will display

    • Downloadability: Choose where the video can be downloaded from

  3. Click Create Video

Once created, your video will appear in the list of videos assigned to the programme.

Assigning videos to seasons and episodes

Videos can be linked to the structure you’ve already created:

  • Attach videos to specific seasons

  • Further assign them to episodes for more detailed organisation

This ensures your content appears exactly where users expect it.

Managing video visibility

When adding or editing a video, you can control how it’s accessed:

  • Public videos will appear openly within the selected series

  • Restricted videos will only be visible to permitted users

  • Downloadable videos give users the option to save content locally

This flexibility is ideal for managing exclusive content, previews, or internal-only videos.

How videos appear

Once saved, your video will display within the selected series based on its assigned season and episode.

For example, a public video will be visible to users directly within the series view, making it easy to watch and engage with.

Tips

  • Use labels to organise content
    Naming videos like Trailer, Promo, or Behind the Scenes helps users quickly understand what they’re watching.

  • Double-check assignments
    If a video isn’t appearing where expected, make sure it’s assigned to the correct season or episode.

  • Control access carefully
    Use restricted settings for early releases or private content to avoid unintended access.

  • Optimise for user experience
    Place key videos (like trailers) at the season level so they’re easy to find.
