Permissions allow you to control who can access programmes, seasons, and videos across your platform. Whether you’re sharing content internally or restricting access for specific users or companies, permissions give you full control.
Manage Programme Permissions
Navigate to:
ONE Admin > Catalogue > Programmes
Restrict a programme
Find your programme
Click Actions > Manage Permissions
Enable the restriction toggle
Once enabled:
The programme becomes restricted
All seasons, episodes, and videos within it are also restricted
Add:
Users
Companies
Groups
Click Save Permissions
A restricted label will appear on the programme
The label only shows at the top level, but restrictions apply to all related content
Edit or remove programme restrictions
Go to Actions > Manage Permissions
Add or remove users/companies
Or disable restriction entirely
Manage Season Permissions
Go to:
ONE Admin > Catalogue > ProgrammesFind your programme
Click Actions > Manage Seasons
Select the season
Click Actions > Manage Permissions
Then follow the same process as programme permissions.

Go to:
ONE Admin > Catalogue > SeasonsFind your season
Click Actions > Manage Permissions
Then follow the same process
Key behaviour
Restricting a season will restrict:
All episodes and videos within that season
It will not affect:
The parent programme
Other seasons
The restricted label will appear on the season
Manage Video Permissions
Navigate to:
ONE Admin > Catalogue > ProgrammesClick Actions > Manage Videos
Find your video
Click Actions > Manage Permissions

Go to:
ONE Admin > Catalogue > VideosFind your video
Click Actions > Manage Permissions
Then follow the same process
For Episode videos
Follow this path:
Programme > Manage Seasons > Manage Episodes > Manage Episode Videos > Permissions
Managing Permissions via Users
You can also assign access directly from the Users section:
Open a user profile (ONE Admin > Users > Search/Filter as needed)
Click Manage Permissions
Select restricted programmes to grant access
Existing access is shown with a tick
Search to find and assign additional content
Tip: When searching for seasons or videos, use the season name, not the programme name

Admin users
Have access to all content
Restrictions do not apply
Other users (Internal & External)
Can only see content they’ve been granted access to
Restricted content is hidden unless permission is given
Grant full access (Internal users only)
Within the user edit form, you can enable:
Access to all programmes
Access to all videos
This allows internal users to view all content without making them admins

Apply restrictions at the highest level possible (e.g. programme) to save time
