The Catalogue is where users can browse, search, and discover all available programmes on your platform.

How to access the catalogue

  1. Click the menu button in the top right to expand the navigation

  2. Select Catalogue from the menu

Depending on your setup, you may need to log in before the Catalogue link is visible.

Exploring the catalogue

Once you're in the Catalogue view, you’ll find a range of tools to help you quickly find the content you’re looking for.

Search

Use the search bar to find programmes by title.

  • Results will auto-complete as you type

  • Matches are based on programme titles only

  • The system prioritises exact matches, then similar results

  • Typos or incorrect spellings are not supported

You can:

  • Click a result in the dropdown to go straight to a programme page

  • Press Enter to view a full list of matching results

Results count

See exactly how many results match your search, helping you understand how broad or specific your query is.

Results per page

Control how many programmes you see at once.

Default options include:

  • 12

  • 24

  • 48

Sorting options

Sort your results to find what matters most to you. Options may include:

  • Alphabetical

  • Latest updated

  • Latest created

Available options may vary depending on your platform configuration.

Advanced filters

Click the filter button to open advanced filtering options.

This allows users to refine results further (e.g. by genre or other configured fields), making it easier to narrow down content.

Programme cards

Each result is displayed as a programme card.

  • Clicking anywhere on the card will take you to the programme page

  • Cards typically display:

    • Programme title

    • Genre

    • Short introduction

The exact information shown is defined during your platform’s setup.

Add to list

Users can click the add to list button on a programme card to save content for later, making it easy to build a personalised shortlist.

Tips

  • Be specific when searching
Since search only matches programme titles, using exact or close wording will give the best results.

  • Use filters to refine results
If you’re seeing too many results, try combining search with filters to quickly narrow things down.

  • Adjust results per page
Increase the number of results shown to browse more content at once.

  • Sort for speed
Sorting by 'Latest updated' is a great way to quickly find newly refreshed content.
