The Programme Templates feature gives you the flexibility to design and apply different layouts for your programme pages - so you can present content in the way that best suits each type of programme.
What are Programme Templates?
Programme Templates allow you to:
Create multiple programme page layouts
Apply different designs to different types of programmes
Control which content blocks and structure appear per template
This means no more 'one-size-fits-all' programme pages.
How do Programme Templates work?
Once enabled, Programme Templates let you assign a specific layout when creating a programme.
Each template can be customised to include:
Different content block layouts
Unique page structures
Tailored branding or presentation styles
Programme-specific design requirements
Please note: Some design and setup time is required to implement new templates on your site. Your Account Manager will support you through this process.
How to assign a Programme Template
When creating a programme:
Go to ONE Admin > Catalogue > Programmes > + New Programme
Enter your programme title and slug as normal
Locate the Programme Template field (below the title/slug)
Select your desired template from the dropdown
Continue building your programme page as usual
Default vs custom templates
Your system will typically include:
Standard template
This is your default programme layout used for most programmes.
Custom templates
Additional templates can be created based on your requirements, for example:
A trailer-focused layout
A format-specific layout
A premium or featured programme style
Each template can be named and configured to match your needs.
Setting up your programme page
Once you’ve selected a template, you can continue to:
Add content blocks
Upload images and videos
Configure programme details
Publish your page as normal
The selected template will automatically control how your content is displayed.
