It is now possible for any user that is logged in to download a video via the programme page. When this feature is active, the download button will appear on the video card from within the programme page.
A user will click the download button and a pop up will appear asking whether you want to generate the video.
The system will take the video and re-encode with the users email address and user ID embedded into the video. Once complete the user will be emailed with a link to the mp4 download with the watermark appearing in the bottom right hand corner.
If the user clicks 3 different videos, they will get 3 different emails once the video has been encoded.
This will apply for download of videos on via the website only, not streaming, nor downloads onto the iPad app.
The video will expire in 7 days after which the user must generate the link again. The email to the user will contain the expiry date of the video.
It will be possible for administrators to disable the download on a video. If this is selected then the video will not be downloadable for ALL users. This setting is within the 'Edit' modal for the video.
