Understanding what each permission involves and what it enables the user to do

To add a new 'Role' navigate to ONE Admin > Admin > Roles > + New Role to bring up the list of permissions available to apply to your role.

An explanation of each permission can be seen when hovering over the '?' in the pop up window πŸ‘‡

There is also a list of all descriptions below:

App Management

  • Highlights: Allows users to manage programme highlights that appear on the app and if enabled, on the top of the programme catalogue.

Asset Management

  • Assets: Allows users to manage asset materials and restrictions. They will be able to create, edit and assign assets (separate to managing asset permissions)

Content Management

  • News: Allows users to create and publish news articles

  • Pages: Allows users to create and edit collections and pages, including navigation management

  • Talents: Allows users to create and assign talents to programmes and series levels.

Feature Management

  • Configuration: Allows users to manage core ONE platform setup, including video providers and localisations.

Meeting Management

  • Events: Allows users the ability to create and manage events on behalf of other users.

  • Meetings: Allows users the ability to manage meetings on behalf of other users.

Permission Management

  • Asset Permissions: Allows users to give access to restricted assets for users, companies and groups.

  • Copy Permissions: Allows users to copy permissions between users, companies and groups.

  • Share List Permissions: Allows users to assign permissions to restricted content in a list when sharing with another user.

Programme Management

  • Programmes: Allows users to manage programme content including series and episodes, and provide access to restricted programme content.

  • Videos: Allows users to manage video content, assign to programmes and provide access to restricted videos.

  • Programme Attributes: Allows users to create new programme attributes including: genre, quality, language, broadcaster and production companies

  • Custom Catalogues: Allows users to create and manage custom catalogues.

Screend Management

  • Profile Management: Allows users to manage Screend profile page.

  • Programme Management: Allows users to publish and manage programmes, series, episodes and videos on Screend.

User Management

  • Anonymous Access: Allows users to provide anonymous access to restricted content.

  • Approvals: Allows users to view approvals, and approve or reject users.

  • Channels: Allows users to manage all aspects of channels and orders.

  • Companies: Allows users to create companies.

  • Enquiries: Allows users to view enquiries.

  • External Users: Allows users to view and manage external users only (excluding internal users).

  • Global Lists: Allows users to create global lists.

  • Groups: Allows users to create groups.

  • Impersonate Users: Allows users to impersonate users they have access to.

  • Internal Users: Allows users to view and manage internal users only (excluding external users).

  • Regions: Allows users to create regions.

  • Roles: Allows users to create roles.

  • Teams: Allows users to create teams.

  • Territories: Allows users to create territories.

  • View Reporting: All Users: Allows users to view reporting data for all users.

  • View Reporting: My Users: Allows users to view reporting data for users they have access to.
