The Clickable Banner feature allows you to transform your banner images into fully clickable links. This means users can click anywhere on the banner and be taken directly to a specific page or external URL - perfect for promotions, featured content, or key announcements.
What is a Clickable Banner?
A clickable banner is part of the Banner Carousel content block, where you can:
Add eye-catching banner images
Link them to internal or external pages
Create a more interactive and engaging user experience
How to add a Clickable Banner
Step 1: Navigate to your page
Go to ONE Admin > Content > Pages
Find the page you want to edit
Click Actions > Manage Content
Step 2: Add a Banner Carousel block
In the Manage Content screen
Locate the Banner Carousel content block on the left
Drag and drop it into your page layout
Step 3: Configure your banner
Fill out the settings:
Items per slide – Number of banners shown per slide
Auto rotate – Enable automatic slide rotation
Background - Choose your background option
Visibility – Choose who can see the banner (everyone, logged-in, or logged-out users)
Step 4: Add and customise slides
Click 'Add slides'
Configure details as usual
Upload your banner image(s)
Making the banner clickable
To enable the clickable feature:
Tick the 'Whole banner is clickable' checkbox
Add the URL you want the banner to link to
Save your changes
Once saved, users can click anywhere on the banner to follow the link.
Important limitation
You cannot use a button and make the whole banner clickable at the same time
If 'Whole banner is clickable' is enabled, buttons within the banner will not be usable
