Ever started a video but didn’t have time to finish? No worries! With the Resume Watching feature, your site and app remember exactly where you stopped, so you can continue seamlessly.
This works across the whole site and app, as long as the user is logged in.
How it works
When a user is watching a video, the system automatically saves their watch position.
If the user leaves the video, closes the app, or switches devices, their progress is stored.
When they return to the same video, a resume modal appears with two options:
Resume – pick up exactly where you left off
Play from Start – start fresh from the beginning
For example: If a user watches 15 seconds of a video on the website, then logs into the app and clicks the same video, the resume prompt will appear.
Tip
We check your video progress every 5 seconds, so your spot is always up to date. No need to worry about losing your place!
Admin control
This feature can be turned on or off from the Subscriptions page, depending on your permissions.
