The Private Pages feature allows you to restrict access to specific pages on your site by adding a login wall. This ensures that only logged-in users can view the content - perfect for exclusive information.
What are Private Pages?
When a page is set to private:
Logged-out visitors cannot view any content on the page
They’ll be prompted to log in before accessing it
Logged-in users can view the page as normal
Even if the page appears in your site navigation, users who aren’t logged in will be redirected to a login wall when they try to access it.
How to make a page private
Setting up a private page is quick and simple:
Navigate to ONE Admin > Content > Pages
Find the page you want to restrict
Click Actions > Edit
Scroll down in the edit window
Tick the ‘Private’ checkbox
Save your changes
That’s it - your page is now protected
Important things to know
This is a blanket setting - it applies to the entire page
Logged-out users will not see any part of the content
Logged-in users will have full access as usual
The page can still appear in menus, but access is restricted
When should you use Private Pages?
