What is the Virtual Screening Room?
The Virtual Screening Room enables you to:
Host virtual meetings with clients or teams
Present videos and programme content live
Interact via video and messaging
Seamlessly switch between content during a session
It’s perfect for events, client meetings, and content showcases — all within your platform.
How to create a Virtual Meeting
Step 1: Navigate to Meetings
Go to the Meetings section on the front end of your website
(You must be an internal user to access this feature)
Step 2: Create a new meeting
Select a meeting slot
Click to create a new meeting
Fill out the meeting details as usual
Step 3: Enable Virtual Screening Room
As you scroll down the meeting setup page:
Tick 'Make meeting virtual'
Optionally toggle messaging on/off during the meeting
Step 4: Send invitations
Ensure you tick 'Send invite' next to attendees
This will email them a link to join the meeting
What attendees experience
Receive an email invitation with a join link
Click the link and enter their name
Arrive at the 'Join meeting' screen
Enter the meeting when ready
Inside the Virtual Screening Room
Host controls
As the host, you can:
Play, pause, and control video content
Switch between programmes and assets in real time
Showcase more than just pre-selected content
Video conferencing
Attendees appear on screen and can interact live
Participants can speak with each other
When content is playing:
Attendees are muted automatically
Messaging remains available
Messaging
Chat functionality is available throughout the session
Can be toggled on/off during setup
