The Franchise feature helps you group related programmes together - making it easier for users to explore, discover, and engage with connected content.
What is the Franchise feature?
Franchises allow you to:
Clearly mark a programme as part of a franchise
Link related programmes together
Improve discovery for users
Think of it as creating a connected ecosystem of programmes that belong together.
Setting a programme as part of a franchise
To tag and link programmes:
Go to ONE Admin > Catalogue > Programmes
Select Actions > Edit on your chosen programme
Scroll to Production Details
Tick 'Franchise' if the programme is the main programme in the franchise
and/or Link other programmes by searching for their titles
Click Save
This option is available once the Franchise feature is enabled on your platform.
Managing franchises in the CMS
Programmes are clearly tagged as part of a franchise
Admin users can easily identify and manage linked content
Keeps your catalogue organised and structured
What users will see
Franchise carousel
On the programme page, users will see a carousel of related titles within the same franchise.
This allows them to:
Browse connected programmes
Discover additional content
Stay engaged within the same content universe
Catalogue filtering
Users can also filter the catalogue by franchise, helping them quickly find all related titles in one place.
