Localisation

Tailor your platform language to suit your audience

Written by Support

The Localisations feature gives you control over the wording used across your site - allowing you to customise labels and terminology to match your brand, region, or audience preferences.

What are Localisations?

Localisations let you edit and override default system text across your platform.

This means you can change how certain words or phrases appear - without needing development work.

Where can I find it?

To access Localisations:

  1. Go to ONE Admin

  2. Navigate to Settings > Site Configuration > Localisation

How does it work?

Within the Localisation settings, you’ll see a list of text fields used across your site.

To update a term:

  1. Find the word or label you want to change

  2. Enter your preferred wording in the text box

  3. Click Save Config

Your changes will automatically apply across the entire site.

Example use case

Want to adjust terminology for your audience?

  • Change 'Season' → 'Series'

  • Update 'Episodes' → 'Installments'

  • Modify labels to match regional language preferences

Once saved, the updated term will appear everywhere on your site.

Made a mistake? No problem!

If you need to revert a change:

  • Click the Undo button

  • The text will return to its original default value

Why use Localisations?

This feature helps you:

  • Align platform language with your brand voice

  • Adapt terminology for different regions or audiences

  • Maintain consistency across your site

  • Make quick updates without technical support

Tips

  • Keep terminology consistent across all changes

  • Avoid over-customising commonly understood terms
