What’s new?
The Announcements feature is now available for all clients, making it easy to communicate important updates directly to your users.
If you have the notifications permission, you’ll be able to access and manage announcements from a new “Announcements” page in the CMS.
Accessing Announcements
Go to the Announcements page in the CMS
View a list of all previously created announcements
Create new announcements using a simple form
Creating an Announcement
When creating an announcement, you can control exactly who receives it, how it’s delivered, and what it says.
Who should receive the announcement?
Choose your audience:
All users
Internal users only or External users only
Selected users
Selected companies
Selected groups
Announcement Type
You can choose one or more delivery methods:
Website notification (always enabled)
App push notification (if supported)
Website popup
Announcement Content
Complete the following fields:
Label – a short title or heading
Message – the main content of the announcement
Link type – where the user is directed when they click:
Programme
Collection
Page
External link
How Announcements Are Delivered
Once created, the announcement is sent to the selected users based on the chosen delivery types:
Website Notification
Appears in the website header
Displays the message and link
App Push Notification
Sent directly to the user’s device
Requires the user to have:
The app installed
Push notifications enabled
Website Popup
Appears as a popup when the user next visits the site
Will only show once:
It disappears after being closed or clicked
