The Talents feature allows you to assign people - such as actors, presenters, directors, and producers - to your programmes. This not only enriches your programme pages but also makes your catalogue more searchable and engaging.
What is the Talents feature?
Talents is a flexible content feature that lets you:
Add people (e.g. actors, directors, presenters) to programmes
Display talent information on programme pages
Use talents as a filterable field in your catalogue
It helps users discover content based on the people they’re interested in.
Creating a new Talent
Step 1: Create a Talent Type
Go to ONE Admin > Catalogue > Meta > Talents
Go to the Talent Types tab
Click + Add Talent Type
Enter a name (e.g. Actor, Director, Presenter)
Click Save
Step 2: Add a Talent
Go to the Talents tab
Click + Add Talent
Enter the first name and last name
Add Talent Image
Click Save
Assigning Talents to a programme
Navigate to ONE Admin > Programmes
Select your programme and click Edit from the Actions dropdown
Scroll to the Talents field
Click Add A New Talent
Select the Talent Type and Talent Name from the dropdown
Tick Featured if you want the talent to appear highlighted on the programme page
Click Save Programme
What happens next?
The assigned talent will now appear on the programme page within the production info:
The Talent field becomes a filter option within your catalogue
Making it easier for users to explore content by their favourite people.
What’s new?
We’ve introduced enhancements to make managing talents even easier and more powerful:
Thumbnail images
Each talent profile now includes a thumbnail image field, helping bring profiles to life visually.
Featured talents
You can now mark talents as Featured, allowing you to highlight key individuals on programme pages.
Managing Talent Images
You have two options for adding images to a talent profile:
Upload manually
Add a custom image for full control over appearance
Click Select Image
User a custom image from your files
Save Talent
Generate automatically
Pull in an image from an external source
Click ✨Generate Image
AI in place to match images from the talent name
Save Talent
